Return Policy for Burfitt Tools
At Burfitt Tools, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with every purchase. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, our return policy is here to help.
Eligibility for Returns
Timeframe:
Items may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange.
Condition of Items:
The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as it was delivered. Items showing signs of use, wear, or damage not caused during shipping are not eligible for a return.
Non-Returnable Items:
Custom or special-order tools.
Gift cards or promotional items.
Items marked as “Final Sale” at the time of purchase.
Return Process
Submit a Return Request:
Email us at customerservice@burfitt.com.au with your order details and the reason for the return. Attach photos if the item was damaged during shipping.
Approval and Instructions:
Once your request is approved, you will receive instructions on how to send the item back.
Shipping the Item Back:
Use the original packaging if possible. Please clearly write your Original Order Number on the package or inside the box. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was faulty or damaged upon delivery.
Refunds
Inspection and Approval:
Once we receive the returned item, it will be inspected. If approved, your refund will be processed within 7 to 10 business days.
Refund Method:
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please note that original shipping fees are non-refundable, except in cases of faulty or damaged items.
Exchanges
If you wish to exchange your item, follow the same return process. Once we receive the returned item, we will ship your replacement (subject to stock availability).
Damaged or Faulty Items
Damaged in Transit:
If your item arrives damaged, please contact us with photos within 48 hours of delivery so we can arrange a replacement.
Faulty Items / Warranty Claims:
If your item becomes faulty after use, it may be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty or Australian Consumer Law. Please contact us and we will assist you with the warranty process.
Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
This policy is offered in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this policy is intended to limit or exclude any rights you have under the law.
